The Palais Garnier, also known as Opéra Garnier, is a historic 1,979-seat opera house at the Place de l'Opéra in Paris' 9th arrondissement.

Built from 1861 to 1875 at the request of Emperor Napoleon III; we had the chance experience a private tour of the monument. It gave us access to some hidden spots in the Opéra, like the balcony and a few rooms that aren't open to the public.
